BOAT REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
We are a full-service Composite shop and can repair, upgrade, and outfit any boat. Whether you need your boat reskinned, broken ribs, or other members replaced in a skin on frame. A new seat, a keel strip added, a skeg box installed or gelcoat crack and blister repair on your composite boat. Or if you need your wood boat re-varnished. Nash Boatworks is your one-stop shop for modern and traditional kayak repair.

KAYAK DAY-SPA
Our kayak day spa is a full-service detail. We will remove all deck lines and fittings, wash, wax, and machine polish your ride with a marine-grade UV blocking wax. We will also check all mechanical systems of your boat, skegs, and rudders, bulkheads, hatch seals, deck fittings, and make recommendations for repair where needed. New static deck lines and bungee cord will be installed on your boat so you can feel confident in your boat's ability to withstand another year of use in the challenging conditions of the great lakes.

TEST PADDLE
Buying a new boat can be a tough decision, that is why we offer test paddles. Each test paddle will be 2 hours long. I will meet you at an agreed location within 45 minutes of our shop with an appropriate kayak and you will have an opportunity to experience what sets us apart. Each test paddle will include: transportation of the boat, a 2 hour rental of the boat and skirt, an overview of the boat you are paddling, a 10 minute safety presentation, 1 hour of on water instruction and 1 hour of paddling. You are responsible for your own paddling gear: clothing, PFD, and paddle. The cost for test paddles is $200.00 and will be credited back to you should you choose to purchase from us.

COACHING
Whether you want to work on developing your paddling technique, getting your first roll, or learning how to paddle your traditional craft in bigger conditions, we have the experience to help you achieve your paddling goals. Paddling traditional kayaks with traditional gear using traditional techniques is different in many ways than paddling an euro rig. Experience the subtleties of traditional paddling techniques and enjoy a connection to your boat and the water you have never before experienced.
